Chloe and Scott’s wedding was truly one for the books, as they said “I do” on an overcast and rainy day in December. But despite the less-than-perfect weather, this happy couple didn’t let it spoil their big day and embraced the unexpected.

The venue was located on the bride’s parents’ property in rural Serpentine, an awesome location nestled under the Darling Scarp, complete with polo fields! The picturesque views and rustic charm of the property made for a stunning backdrop for their ceremony.

The ceremony took place outdoors, and the rain didn’t stop the couple from exchanging their vows in front of their loved ones. In fact, the weather added an extra layer of intimacy and coziness to the ceremony, as the guests huddled together under umbrellas and raincoats.

At their reception guests were treated to a delicious menu of locally sourced produce.  Despite the rainy weather, the couple and their guests were in high spirits throughout the evening. The dance floor was alive with energy, as everyone danced the night away to a live band that kept the party going until the wee hours of the morning.

It goes to show that sometimes, the unexpected can make for the most unforgettable moments! ❥
