A Mosman Park Wedding Full of Heart

A Little Backstory
Before Veronica’s and James big day at Mosman Park, I got to know these two through my pre-wedding chats, and I could tell straight away they were the real deal. Easy laughs, a quiet kind of connection, and a love that’s grown over the years.

They’re the sort of couple who’d rather share sushi and sunsets than fuss over traditions, and that laid-back energy flowed through every part of their day. Two people who just get each other — simple, grounded, and completely at home together. The kind of love that doesn’t need a spotlight, it just quietly fills the room.

Some weddings just feel different — slower, softer, real. Veronica & James’ day was exactly that. No big production, no stress, just two legends celebrating their story surrounded by their favourite people.

The Setting
Veronica and James chose Lower Bay View Park in Mosman Park for their ceremony — and honestly, it’s easy to see why. The spot has everything you’d want for a laid-back Perth wedding: sweeping views over the Swan River, soft light filtering through the trees, and a calm, open feel that makes the day feel intimate but still beautifully scenic.

It’s close enough to the city for guests and vendors to cruise in easily, but once you’re standing there, it feels like you’ve escaped it all. The park’s natural backdrop did all the styling for them — no fuss, just a patch of grass and the river glinting behind them. Pure Perth magic.

The Vibe
Their Perth micro wedding had everything I love — calm energy, plenty of laughs, and those in-between moments that you can’t stage. The way they looked at each other during the ceremony, the quiet hugs after, and their cute-AF little dog making sure everyone knew they were part of the action — absolute gold.

The Mosman Park Ceremony
Anne Miller was their celebrant — and honestly, she was the perfect fit. Warm, grounded, and genuinely invested in their story, Anne brought this calm, joyful energy that made the ceremony feel effortless and real. She has this beautiful way of keeping everyone relaxed while still making the moment feel meaningful. You can check out more of her work here: annemillercelebrant.com.au

Why I’ll Always Love Micro Weddings
There’s something pretty special about keeping it small. You get more connection, more time to breathe, and way more photos that actually feel like you. Whether it’s a backyard ceremony, a little coastal spot down south, or your favourite corner of the city — micro weddings strip it back to what matters most.
Less posing. More feeling.
Less fluff. More story.
